Good Burger 2, la suite tant attendue de la comédie culte de 1997, a ramené plus d’acteurs originaux que ce à quoi les fans auraient pu s’attendre. Kenan Thompson et Kel Mitchell sont évidemment de retour, étant donné qu’ils sont les stars et qu’aucun film n’existerait sans eux.
Il a été annoncé avant la sortie du film que Josh Server, Lori Beth Denberg et Carmen Electra reprendraient également leurs rôles de Good Burger dans la suite de Paramount. Le retour de M. Wheat de Sinbad n’a cependant pas été annoncé avant les débuts du film plus tôt cette semaine.
Sinbad est apparu dans le premier Good Burger dans le rôle de M. Wheat, le professeur de lycée qui met essentiellement en mouvement toute l’intrigue. Lorsque le Dex de Thompson heurte la voiture de M.
Wheat, celui-ci doit trouver un emploi d’été pour payer les réparations, ce qui le conduit à son restaurant local Good Burger. Compte tenu de son importance pour le premier film – et de l’influence de la comédie de Sinbad sur toutes les personnes impliquées – il était logique de trouver un moyen pour que M. Wheat original joue un rôle dans Good Burger 2.
